A Little More Love—Children's Summer Musical

The summer of 2022 marks the 10th anniversary of our summer children's musical! We are celebrating that milestone in a special way with the commission of a brand new show by Ken Medema and Grace Hawthorne. Ken and Grace will be with us for part of our week together as we develop the PREMIERE performance of this musical with the children.  

A Little More Love is open to students entering first through entering fifth grades. Rehearsals will be held in the Rotunda Theater, Monday, August 1 through Friday, August 5 from 1:30 to 5 p.m. The children will perform on Friday, August 5 at 6 p.m., and also sing a selection from the show in the 11 a.m. worship service on Sunday, August 7.

A Little More Love will take us down the Mississippi River from its headwaters in Lake Itasca, Minnesota to St. Louis, Memphis and New Orleans while exploring different messages of love inspired by 1st and 2nd Corinthians.
