Tapestry Players presents The Summer's Tale

A musical by Howard Goodall, freely based on William Shakespeare's play The Winter's Tale. Book by Nick Stimson. Winner ‘Best Musical’ Off-West End Theatre Awards 2012 (UK).

A "winter of discontent" in the first act, set in a fictional totalitarian state, yields to sunnier days in the second act, set in a neighboring country several years later.

Directed by David Gow, with musical direction by Sid Davis.
