Student Serve: The Big Serve 2024

Join us as we partner with outreach ministries to take on a bed-building project with Sleep in Heavenly Peace during the church-wide Big Serve event on the morning of October 5th at our Gethsemane campus. We would like everyone participating to show up for the big serve launch starting at 8:00AM in the sanctuary at Gethsemane campus; that's where everyone (including the adults serving alongside students) will eat breakfast (kolache's, donuts, fruit, etc.), meet their team Leaders, pick up t-shirts and supplies and pray as a group, and prepare for the day. Our training and project go from 8:45a.m.-12:30p.m. at the Gethsemane Campus (6856 Bellaire Boulevard). There are several different jobs to be done on beds (many people will be sanding), so if you have concerns about your students handling working with any tools they can likely be avoided, feel free to reach out to Connely Lambert (clambert@stlukesmethodist.org) with any concerns.

Outreach ministries will also be in great need of families who can help deliver the beds on Saturday or even Sunday, so please consider serving in that way; You can sign up for that in the same sign up genius linked above.
