Lenten Study - The Last Week - Cancelled until after 4/5/2020

Dive DEEP into the cultural and political setting of Jesus’ final week in a 7-week study based on the book The Last Week by Marcus J. Borg and John Dominic Crossan.  This study is not a casual read — the authors wrote it in response to Mel Gibson’s movie, The Passion of the Christ.  Mainly using the Gospel of Mark, Borg and Crossan guide readers through the daily events leading up to Jesus’ crucifixion and resurrection.  Everyone will be challenged, but all will be encouraged to share their viewpoints in class discussions.  Participants will purchase their own book.
