“Helping Your Children with Emotional Regulation in a Dysregulating Time” by Dr. Abigail Nodler

Children’s Ministries Parenting Center will host Dr. Abigail Nodler for a free, online conversation on "Helping Your Children with Emotional Regulation in a Dysregulating Time." Dr. Abigail Nodler is double-board certified in child and adolescent psychiatry and in adult psychiatry. She is a native Texan who enjoys treating patients of all ages. ​ She attended the Texas Tech School of Medicine, and completed a residency in Adult Psychiatry at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She then completed a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at Harvard Medical School's Cambridge Health Alliance Hospital. Dr. Nodler has a special interest in infant mental health and participated in the Infant Parent Training Institute in Massachussetts. ​

Following her training, Dr. Nodler was an Instructor at Harvard Medical School and an attending physician in the inpatient adolescent unit at the Cambridge Health Alliance Hospital. Upon relocation to Houston, Dr. Nodler was an Assistant Professor at the Baylor College of Medicine, and worked at the Menninger Clinic on the Comprehensive Outpatient Psychiatric Assessment Team.
