Dr. David Persse, Director of Emergency Medical Services and the Public Health Authority for the City of Houston, joins us in a special afternoon edition of Thursday with Friends to talk about the unprecedented effort to develop, manufacture and distribute vaccines for COVID-19. Roughly 3 months into the distribution of the vaccine in Houston, Dr. Persse will address some of the challenges, misconceptions and hopes for the vaccine and how the city plans to move forward.
