We Believe in the Power of Prayer

Our Prayer Team consists of Prayer Partners and Volunteers who are dedicated to praying with you and for you. Our prayer teams consist of people who have a passion for prayer and who pray diligently, specifically for the needs within and outside the church, locally and globally.

What happens when I submit a prayer request?

Your prayer request is reviewed by our Caring Ministries staff. We reserve the right to edit every prayer request to remove inappropriate content or language. We pray over your concern and forward your prayer to our Clergy and/or to our Prayer Volunteers as indicated on your request. This is a group of individuals who are members of St. Luke’s UMC and/or trusted Prayer Partners who have a spiritual gift for intercessory prayer. Your first and last name are included along with your prayer request. We will reach out to you as indicated on your request form and as appropriate. If you would prefer to remain anonymous, you can write “anonymous” in the name fields, or simply enter your Initials (first and last) to complete the form. Your prayer request is active for two weeks before being archived, giving our Prayer Team ample opportunity to pray over your concern multiple times.
